La Roca Rara is the perfect venue for your wedding reception, a lavish party, or special occasion. The outdoor terrace can be used for welcome drinks and canapés or for the wedding ceremony itself. With it’s vast floor space and stunning high ceilings the huge reception room can comfortably seat up to 60 people for a banquet, still leaving ample space for evening guests and dancing.

The tranquillity of its setting also lends La Roca Raca a peaceful retreat for anyone looking to escape from it all. It is ideal for a yoga, art or tennis holiday.

We checked out other villas but they all fell short when it came to space, layout and most of all cleanliness. The villa is maintained to a very high standard throughout including its beautiful gardens. 

Unlike a hotel it provided privacy, intimacy, somewhere that we didn't have to share with anyone else. We had full control of the flow of our wedding and subsequent days and were not restricted by hotel rules and regulations.

Our celebrations were spread over a couple of days and we made good use of all the different areas available making each day feel different to the next. Both our families stayed in the villa with us and some of our closest friends. “Once our daughter Michelle and her fiance Paul decided to get married in Spain, Michelle, her Dad Brendan and myself (Mum) made arrangements with our Wedding Planner to visit some venues in Nerja. On our initial sighting of La Villa Roca Rara we just fell in love with it and knew that this was where we wanted to hold the Wedding reception. So we rented the villa for one week and the party took off immediately we arrived on July 24th. The accommodation is surperb; the bedrooms are  very well appointed surrounding the pool; the living/dining area is very well furnished as is the kitchen which has all equipment needed for the large number of people the villa can accomodate. There is a laundry and drying facilities which make family living so easy. The veranda is wonderful for barbeques etc, and we had such fun in the pool. The Managers, Jennnie and Richard were so helpful and couldn't do enough for us. All in all, a fabulous 5* venue for a family wedding/anniversary/birthday etc. We would love to return some time in the future.”
